Hi PingSkills, i want to ask about topspin below the table i ever watched hit the ball below the table video and you tell to make topspin to lift the ball up but what i want to ask is, is it better to topspin below the table and wait the ball come down below the table?

I do this because the ball is long but not too far so it land down near the end of the table so i can't make a normal topspin stroke as the start position is backward and when i try to swing the ball has drop down so i think about the video that i say and try it but sometimes the ball go up high or out so i make the swing a little slower but sometimes it goes to the net just wanted to ask what should i do with that ball to make it go to the opponent side with consistency please for the answer thank you very much.

Hi Frendy,

You don't need to wait till the ball drops.  If you can hit it from higher that is better.  You just need to adjust the angle of your bat and swing to get the ball on the table consistently.

Stop Coming Back to Ready Position! Do This Instead…

Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:

✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies

Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.

The problem is forehand topspin start position is to have the bat backward and swing to forward but the ball is not long out of the table so i can't swing from that position the ball bounce for the first time then fall down near the end of the table so if i pull backward for the start position, the ball has to go down and also i can't swing from there...

Take another look at the lesson on hitting the ball below the level of the table.  This will show it to you.
