Hi All

I'm from India. I started playing TT only a year back at my workplace and i'm very much in love with this game. I prefer using lightweight racquet but i'm unable to find one anywhere (Plus no racquet weight information is provided if i decide to buy online). Currenly i'm using Stag-Tournament TT BAT which is very lightweight but poor with speed and spin (65 & 70 respectively). Can you guys suggest me some list of lightweight racquets with good spin/speed so that i can brush up my game as well?

Thanks in Advance
DK

Hi Deepak,

The starter premade bats tend to be very light.  As you progress you will have to step up slightly in weight.

We have the PingSkills Rook which is reasonably light at 185g but will give you a lot more speed and spin.  It would be a reasonable next step.

I have an Andro CF Kinetic Off- blade which is made of carbon and weighs only 68 grams. This blade costs around USD 35.  I also have another Butterfly Kiso Hinoki V which is a 5-ply hinoki wood and weighs around 72 grams.  I paid only USD 18 for this blade and its feel is fantastic, soft on the ball touch and yet firm when attack.  I like it better than the Andro blade.  The only drawback about this Kiso Hinoki V blade is that its face is rather small and its handle is a bit short, fit for women's and younger players' smaller hands.
