Strategy
Hi Alois,
A strategy I use against players my level sometimes is to let them take an early lead in the game. I'll see how he is playing and where he is messing up in this time (For example in a game to 21: 7-3 or 9,1) I then let him get overconfident and then start messing up so I can come back. This strategy works sometimes as I am able to come back and win when its like deuce or 18-21. Sometimes it doesn't work though. I'll lose when I have like 19 or 20 points. The reason i am using this strategy is because when I am in the lead I start getting over confident and messing up. What should I do?
Hi Zaid,
This is a dangerous strategy. However, experimenting early in the match to see what your opponent like and dislikes can be useful. Now that games are up to 11 it is a little more risky as well.
