Hi Alois/Jeff

Well I started playing table tennis when I was 13, that is a year ago.  That time I had no idea of any basic strokes. However I managed to learn a stroke which I thought was a correct stroke but I can't find it anywhere. It is similar to the sidespin flick and I use for short balls. I am not that consistent with it but I believe I can master it.

So is it good to keep practising it or should I just stop using it as I am not sure it is a correct stroke. Pls advice and thanks

Hi Bhavesh,

If it is effective for you then keep using it.  If you find it has some limitations then you could try to change it to make it more effective.
