Hi Nischay,

You should drink plenty today, the day before the tournament.  Then during the day drink a little bit but very regularly.

Another little trick is to put something cool on your neck in between matches.  If there are showers available at the venue then also cool off by having a cool shower or even just wetting you head.  Before a game run your hands under cool water which will help to keep them cool, at least initially in the match and make your palms less slippery.

Tactics Against a Good Short Pusher

Use a long push or a flick to open up the game against someone who is beating you at the short game. It might not be your favourite way to play but if you are losing the short game you need to mix things up. In the long run you certainly need to improve your own short game.
