Strokes

Hi! How do I improve my hand-eye coordination? At most times, I always miss the ball or hit the ball at the edge of the racket. And I find myself not really looking at the flight of the ball but instead just guessing where it will go.

Hi Kristiaan,

I think what you have identified is really important.  I can't stress enough the importance of watching the ball.  By watching the ball I don;t just mean keeping an eye on it, I mean watching it closely, tracking it like a hawk.

You will find that with time this will improve your coordination greatly and will start to eliminate the mishits. This is something that needs to be done during training first.  It is like any other skill you have to practice it.  It will not just come during matches.

Work hard on this one.
