Strokes
hey
i have watched your video on how to serve like Jun Mizutani and it helped me alot ,so i thought u would be able to help me with this. I have been struggling to remember how to loop so whenever I come to the table and play or training I forget. When I say forget how to loop I mean like the motion I loop like. I like to loop like Doon Hoon Kang. What do u think I should work on to fix this problem. It’s been happen for about 3 months.
Thanks
Hi Cong,
It is important with your strokes to find your start and finish points and understand them and feel them. Once you find these the rest of the stroke will flow much better.
Take a look at our lessons on the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin and the Forehand Topspin Against Block. Take particular note of the start and finish positions and then try to copy them.
You can even do this without a ball in front of a mirror so you can see what your stroke looks like.
In this video, we dive into the forehand push, a crucial defensive stroke in table tennis that allows you to control rallies with effective backspin. We break down the three key concepts—start position, feet position, and finish position—to help you execute the stroke with precision. You'll also learn how to adjust your bat angle to generate varying degrees of backspin, depending on the spin your opponent imparts on the ball. Finally, we'll guide you through practical drills to enhance your proficiency and consistency with the forehand push, ensuring you're well-prepared for your next match. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, this tutorial will provide you with the tools to master the forehand push.
