Strokes
Sir when I feel the ball; I always brush to get topspin, but I want to learn how to brush better because when I hit the ball it always goes out sometimes and I want to have better control.
Hi Sebastian,
The main thing is to get the feel of the contact.
Try this idea of putting a stick about 1 metre above the net. Then try to hit the ball so that it goes over the stick and onto the table. Try and get the ball to dip quickly over the stick.
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
