Hi, coach!

There is a player who plays in a very high speed. Our recent games become topspin rallies. I noticed that I lose the point when I play in his rhythm. How to slow down the rhytm?  If you remember, it is about the opponent when I send my first video while I was premium member. And I usually can't react some fast balls, especially FH balls, because of my bad footwork. I have a feeling that can't handle his rhythm. Do I need to try slow down the rhythm? Or what do you suggest?

Hi Ardak,

I think slowing down the rhythm is a good idea.  You can do this by getting your serves shorter and lower and also playing with more backspin rather than topspin when serving.

Also when returning serve think if you can push or chop the return rather than playing with topspin initially.

If you are playing with topspin, play slower as well.  The more speed you give him the faster the ball will come back.
