Hi Rishi,
A new bat is nice but the key is always the amount of training that you are doing.
Take some time to get used to the new bat and then work as hard as possible on the table with your training.

If you can improve your consistency on these combinations it will really help you in a real game since your opponent will often be changing where they hit the ball.
