How to increase spin in your serve

Serving

I am having problems with actually getting enough spin on my serve. I serve perfectly but when the ball reaches the opponents side it tends to stop spinning and they flick towards. I really want to get that spin going because i want to be the attacker for once.

Hi Khizar,

Generating spin is all about the speed of your racket on contact with the ball and also the brushing contact you make on the ball.

If you can do these two things well you will start to generate a lot of spin.  For extra spin try using just your wrist to come through the stroke rather than your whole arm.

Thanks for the kind words about our videos.
