How to give the ball a topspin

Can you help me with topspin serves?I can't figure out how to do it. If you can then it would be very helpful.laughing

Hi Harshit,

To get topspin on the serve you need to brush upwards on the ball, either at the back or over the top.  Then you need to make sure you are brushing the ball on contact.

It doesn’t matter which serve, try to get this principle and see if you can get the topspin.

For a Pendulum serve you need to hit the ball later in the swing as the bat is moving upwards.  For our Premium members you will see this in our lesson on the Pendulum Serve.
