How to develop spin from a wooden paddle

i keep trying to develop more spin with my wooden paddle but i just can't seem to do it.

Do i put rubber on it? i don't really have the time to get a rubber paddle so can u like make a video or something so i can find out how to generate more spin on a wooden paddle?

Hi Kris,

You can't generate spin with a wooden paddle.  You will need to get some rubber on it.  It is the rubber that grips the ball and spins it around.  There is no friction on the wood to be able to spin the ball around.
