How to defend smashes with out going backward?

Hi Adityams,

This is really difficult.  It would mean that you are seeing the ball really early and be able to react to where it comes.  That is why even the better players go back to return a smash.One thing to think about is stopping them from making a smash by keeping the ball lower over the net and deeper on the table.
