Strokes
Hey, Alois/Jeff. I've been observing many people and players giving spin to the ball. Giving spin is something really technical and something that needs time to get use to but quite doable. But, I am having trouble giving swing and curve on the ball when I am playing.. I've seen all the video lessons and tried then as perfectly as I could. I even did some shadow practice, stroke practice. But practically when I try it, I just get raw spin instead of swing and curve of the ball in the air. I use my wrist too, but not quite got the effect and swing. How do I overcome my problem of hitting a swinging topspin and get the ball to curve? Thanks Pingskills!
Thanking you,
Hoot
Hi Ganesh,
When you hit the ball faster even if the ball has a lot of spin, it won't curve in the air. If it is curve you are looking for, try slowing down the stroke a bit.
