How to chop a heavy topspin?

hello sir .

I am an attacking player but i have some opponents who win from me and they do not know how to play against chop so i have decided to become both chopper and attacker !! so sir plz tell me how to chop a heavy topspin stroke.

Hi Pankaj,

Try watching our Backhand Chop and Forehand Chop lesson. Some of the main points are to start with the bat around head level, finish your stroke with your bat around knee level and play the stroke from slightly side on. The more topspin that is on the ball, the more flatter the angle your bat should be. If there is less topspin on the ball you can open up the angle of your bat some more.

You really need to practice this stroke quite a lot against topspin so you can feel comfortable using it in a game.
