How do I practise the Sidespin serve?

Hi Aachyut,

You can use any of the serves, like the pendulum, backhand, tomahawk serve to get sidespin.

Then make sure you are brushing across the ball to generate sidespin.  You can also brush the side of the ball.  This will also get sidespin on the ball.

The main idea is to get the ball rotating on its vertical axis.  This will get the ball to have the sidespin.

If you can, get a copy of the Serving Secrets Revealed DVD.  This will show you in detail how to perform each of these serve with sidespin.
