How can i cut a smash

How its possible to cut a smash if the ball is very fast?its beacuse when i try to cut a ball my opponent attacks very hard and i cant return it.IF YOUU CAN PUT THIS VIDEO ON PINGSKILLS CHANNEL I WOULD UNDERSTAND IT BETTER thanks for making this site to ask you:)

Hi Abram,

Take a look at this lesson on the Backhand Chop.  This will show you the technique for the shot and also show you that when the ball is faster you need to have a more downward swing.

It is all about getting the angles right.  If the ball is faster then come down, if there is more spin you also need to come down.  As the smash is fast but may not have much spin, you need to adjust again.

Make sure though that your stroke is simple and in one plane.
