Sir, it is a little different hitting with short pimples And plane. Coach , since I changed my rubber from plane to short , I find it a bit more difficult . Can you guide me with the correct technique ?

Hi Raghav,

The short pimple will give you a flatter contact and less topspin so you will have less margin for error.   That is probably why you are finding you are making a few more errors.

Make sure you are hitting the ball at the top of the bounce.  The basic strokes are the same you just need to adjust the angle of your bat for the lack of topspin on the ball, so open it up a little more.

If you are finding it too difficult you can always change back to inverted rubber.
