Hello, Pingskills

I have problem with hitting with antispin on my backhand. I am trying to hit it flat, directly, but, the ball often goes over the table. When my opponent gives me backspin, I can lift it, which is logical, but, when my opponent blocks, my second attack often goes over the table. Can you help me, how to hit it, where to contact the ball, how to adjust my blade.

Antispin is great for defending, for chopping, but, I want to attack more, and keep my opponents away from attacking me.

Thanks

Hi Sasha,

Anti spin is very difficult to attack with.  You can do it if you contact the ball slightly higher on the bounce.

If you are really wanting to attack it would be better to change your rubber to an inverted rubber.  You could go with a thinner sponge and a slower rubber to get better control.
