Hi, I'm an average intermediate player.  I have a lot of problems putting loose balls which should really be punished... I end up hitting them into the net.  Every time I get a mishit lob from my opponent i hit it into the net conceding a point.  Can you help me on this?

Hi Sujeet,

This is a common problem I see with players.

The first thing is to make sure you are moving your feet into position when the ball is in the air.  Take a look at the video on the Forehand Smash. This will show you the moment you need to make.

The next thing is to get your bat moving more forward rather than dragging the ball downwards.  Moving to a more side on position will allow you to move forward into the ball and get it moving forward.
