Strokes
Can you guys demonstrate proper body movement of BH drive and BH loop utilizing the hip and waist rotation and body weight transfer? Also, can you please incorporate proper preparation, execution and recovery of those strokes?
Thanks
Gabi Mizrahi
Hi Gabi,
We will try to do one of these videos.
The basics is that you can rotate your waist slightly if you are close to the table. At the same time your weight will transfer from your left foot to your right. You don't need a big step just a transfer of weight.
Question actions
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
