Hi, Alois and Jeff

How can I hit the ball with heavy sidespin? I always see the players hitting their shots with REALLY heavy sidespin. How to do that?( The main point is heavy).

Hi Felix,

To get sidespin on your topspin strokes you can lift or lower the end of your racket by changing the angle of your wrist.

Take a look at this video on the Sidespin Forehand Topspin.

On a serve it is about brushing the side of the ball or across the back of the ball.

To make the spin heavy it is about brushing the ball really fast.  The faster you brush the more spin you will get.
