Hi there coach, I just wanted to know what should I do in order to generate heavy backspin while pushing the ball? I noticed that my push doesn't generate a lot of backspin and sometimes, it doesn't even produce any spin at all. How should I contact the ball in order to make  my push heavier? thanks coach

Hi Wayne,

To get more spin you need to brush the ball finer and faster.  This is the same principle as serving or to generate spin on any strokes.

For the push try to brush right at the underneath of the ball.
