hello sir...

when i play a backhand stroke i keep my thumb on my forehand sheet and when i play a forhand stroke its completely opposite.......due to this i am not able to change through strokes in match especially from a backhand stroke to a forehand stroke ......please tell me what to do

HI Harshal,

I would find a grip that feels comfortable with the bat in a fairly neutral position for both backhand and forehand.  Take a look at our lesson on how to Get a Grip. Then you need to stay with this grip for both sides.  It may help to loosely tie your hand into this position with a piece of cloth so that you get the feel for where it should be for all of your strokes.

If you are changing grips you will always have problems with switching from forehand to backhand and vice versa.
