Strokes
Hi guys,
I watched the video "forehand topspin against block".
Jeff's arm always seems to be in that 90 degree angle during the whole move or very close. Seems like a lot of speed and rotation come from turning hip and shoulder or rather whole body into the stroke.
When I tried that it didnt really work so far and others told me its not good to do it that way, I should stretch my arm more and start lower.
Did I observe that wrong?
Hi Marcus.,
Jeff has a very controlled stroke by using this technique.
If you are looking for more speed you can use an extended arm and use more of our forearm to generate the speed.
Jeff's timing is extremely good so gets away with the smaller arm action.
