hi, i have been trying to work on my forehand lately and my forehand topspin smash is either hitting the net or going over the table most of the time i have practiced for ages but im not very consistant.

Take a look at the lesson on the Forehand Smash. This will give you lots of tips on how to play this stroke,. Follow these tips and see if you can identify something that you can change.
It could be you are hitting the ball from too low or you are not making good position with your feet or perhaps one of the other basics of the technique. Take a look anbd then let me know if you find the answer.
