Are there any situations where you should play a forehand pivot down the line?

Hi Jasper,

If you see that your opponent is moving to cover the cross court ball then the down the line can be effective.

It needs to be god because you are then susceptible to the wide ball to your forehand if they get to it.

Tactics Against A Defensive Chopper

A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position.
