Strokes
How can you do a very fast forehand loop without it hitting the net?
Hi Mergim,
The key is the topspin. By generating a lot of spin the ball will dip down quickly. Therefore you can hit it a little higher over the net and it will still come down onto the table.
Think about making the same strokes as for the slow forehand topspin and then speed the stroke up but keep the same plane. This will give you a good speed to start with.
Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:
✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.
