Hi coaches,

just another query. Whenever my playing mates has a fast shot diagonally down to my forehand side, I tend to keep hitting the net....Also, if I do manage to hit it back on the table, my body position tend to be uncomfortable. Any advice?

Hi Jin Meng,

Make sure you are focused on moving across the table first to get good position before trying to make the stroke. This will help with your balance snd recovery for the next shot.

If the ball is coming fast and without much topspin, it often feels very heavy on your bat.  You should have a little more of a vertical stroke to get the ball up and over the net.
