Forehand counterhit

Hi Coach!

I have a new friend,he said that before learning forehand counterhit, it is necessery to be professional in forehand counterhit and forehand chop.  Is he right?

Hi Haris,

It is good to have a good base of strokes.  I am not too worried about which order they should be learnt but I think the counterhit and push on both forehand and backhand are a good start.  Then you can progress the strokes to the topspin.
