Strokes
Hi Coach!
I have a new friend,he said that before learning forehand counterhit, it is necessery to be professional in forehand counterhit and forehand chop. Is he right?
Hi Haris,
It is good to have a good base of strokes. I am not too worried about which order they should be learnt but I think the counterhit and push on both forehand and backhand are a good start. Then you can progress the strokes to the topspin.
The pivot is where you are moving around your backhand corner to play a forehand. This is something that will come in handy in a match situation, especially if you have a stronger forehand. We will show you the best way to move in the pivot footwork.
