Hi Coach,

I am a right handed penhold player. I can do a backspin with my backhand and still not good on how to do a backspin using forehand. Sometimes, when I use my forehand to do a backspin, the ball is either too high or no spin.

Hi Owen,

The forehand push or backspin is an awkward shot for most players.  Try to relax your arm and really think about just using your fingers and wrist to start with.  You need to have a relaxed wrist to do this well.  Another tip for the forehand push is to keep your elbow quite still.  If it starts to move around the stroke will become inconsistent.
