Hello Alois and Jeff,

When I play the forehand stoke , I either hit the ball off the table or mostly dump it in the net. How do I fix this?

Hi Wasiq,

Try to follow the tips we show you in our lesson on the Forehand Counterhit, the Forehand Topspin Against Block and the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.  These three lessons will show you the techniques to use to make sure your stroke improves and will be able to take you to a high level.

Often the topspin if the thing that will help you to gain consistency because the topspin allows you to hit the ball a little higher over the net and still get the ball to dip onto the table.

Work on these strokes and let me know how you progress with them.  The Forehand strokes are important to get right before you move on.
