Dear Alois,

What is ideal place of ball dip on table when u serve side spin, top spin and back spin.

On my side where ball should dip near me or in centre and second dip of ball should be in centre of opponent side or on border.

Hi Ahtesham,

To get an effective short serve you should get the ball to bounce quite close to you on your side of the table.  This will allow you to hit the serve quite fast and still get it short.

This applies to all types of spin.

You should try to get the ball into a difficult position for your opponent.  In general you should serve short (near the net) because that will stop them from attacking.

Remember though that everyone has an area that they don't like the ball so you need to find that area. It is different for each opponent.
