Training
Hello,
Some coaches don't like their players fooling around and do a lot of experimenting while they are playing or practicing table tennis. So is it necessary to always practice hard with seriousness, determination or hard work, or, it wouldn't heart to have some fun in front of the table once in a while? What does Alois do if he sees such behavior from his players?
P.S. Here is a little video to cheer the PingSkillers up.

Arnab
Hi Arnab,
I think during structured drills training it is important to be disciplined. However there is also other time during training that the players can utilise to experiment and get a feel for different strokes. This is also important to learn the limitations of strokes and what is possible.
There was no link to a video here Arnab.

If you get pushed back from the table don't just give up the point. Try and and get back into the rally. By lobbing the ball high and deep you give yourself time to get into position. If you can then get some topspin on the ball to force the smasher further away from the table then you are likely to get a weaker smash and then you can take your chance and try to counter attack!
