Equipment
Hi Alois,
Does it right to speed up our brushing contact when using a faster paddle?
I feel a lesser feels on my bat when i'm using a faster paddle, so I can't dwell the ball too long on my bat.
Please give me your opinion.
Thanks a lot.
Hi Ernest,
A faster bat will make it more difficult to control the stroke. The ball will stay on your bat for less time. To try to get more control play a slower stroke or brush the ball more and soften the contact.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
