Difference between short pimples and grass rubber

Sir, it seems grass rubbers are without sponge and directly pasted in the blade. Normal technique against short pimples are not working against grass. Pl advise..

Hi Nitin,
Grass is a long pimple rubber. If it has no sponge then it will have a strong spin reversing effect.
Short pimples flattens out the contact but doesn't reverse the spin effect.
