Hi

Does it matter what thickness of sponge on the bat? When making a custom bat do you have to glue the rubber to the wood or does it come with sticky surface?

Hi Mike,

The thickness of the sponge will change the speed and spin capability of the rubber.  The thicker the sponge the more speed and spin you will be able to generate.

It depends where you get the Custom bats from.  Some will come with the rubber already glued on for you others you will need to buy the wood and then stick the rubber on.

The  PingSkills Touch custom bats come already prepared and ready to use.
