Hi Coach, I notice you and Jeff hit most of your pendulum serves near the back hip. Is this optimum and is that universal for most serves? Thanks- Tom

Hi Tom,

The action of the Pendulum serve makes it easier to hit it near the back hip.  With your arm in the position it is in for the serve the back hip is the natural hitting position.

It is not the same for the other serves.  Each serve has its own hitting point depending on your arm and body position. For example the backhand serve is hit closer to your left hip, the Tomahawk serve close to your right shoulder or ear.
