Hi Alois,

Is there any way to play the backhand topspin and banana flick with the same power as it is hit from a little distance away from the table same as Fan Zhendong Jr or Harimoto. I have tried the stroke but it has a very less chance of succeeding. How to make it more accurate as well as any other alternatives other than banana flick and all other defensive strokes and other than forehand strokes too.

Thank you coach

Hi Sai,

It is not possible to hit the ball as fast because you don't have the ability to swing as big as with a stroke from away from the table.  However, because you are closer to your opponent a stroke that is slower than optimal can still be effective because your opponent doesn't have as much time to see the ball.

For accuracy, make sure you are putting some topspin on the ball.  Then it is a matter of effective practice to work on your accuracy.  You can put some targets on the table to check your accuracy.
