Cleaning a table

Alois,

I bought a new table about four months ago. I wipe it down with a dry cloth after every use but I know it needs to be cleaned too. I've seen a table cleaner online sold by Joola for around $20. I've also seen a way to make your own cleaner using 2-3 cups of water with 1/3 cup of white vinegar. Then you dip a cloth in the solution, wring it out until it's damp to the touch, give the table a once over and wipe it off with a dry cloth. It also says to put the net in the solution and let it sit for 15 minutes. After that time, take the net out and let it sit until dry. This process should be repeated every 2-3 months. Seeing the training center you film from, it's fairly safe to say that you(or some other unfortunate soul) have cleaned a lot of tables over the years. So, should I go with the professional cleaner or will the homemade one work just as well(or do you recommend something completely different)?

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

I have only ever used either just a damp cloth with water or a very weak cleaning solution.  Others may know more about the vinegar solution.  It would be interesting to hear other's experiences.  I know they talk about vinegar for cleaning almost everything so it may work.
