How do face a chop serve?

Hi Raghu,

The main thing if the serve has backspin is to be able to lift the ball.  You can do this by making a push stroke and brushing under the ball allowing the angle of your bat to get the ball up and over the net.

If the serve comes long you can use a topspin stroke to lift it over.  You just need to make the stroke more vertical to allow for the chop.
