Well, I'm planning on buying a new racket after playing with some generic racket I bought in China that I think costed around 3-10$ :P Well, I'm thinking of getting a Stiga Allround Classic (http://www.megaspin.net/store/default.asp?pid=s-all-classic) or a Friendship 729 Bomb Penhold (http://www.megaspin.net/store/default.asp?pid=fr-729-bomb-cs). I also have a new Mark V 1.5 rubber that I got from a friend. My current skill level is beginner, but I'm improving extremely quickly.

My questions are:

Should I get a Mark V 1.5 rubber for my other side? What's the difference between the different sizes?

Should I get the Stiga or the Friendship?

Or do you have a blade or other rubber you recommend?

Hi Horace,

I think the All Round Classic is a good blade as a first Custom made blade.  I don't know much about the Friendship 729 Bomb.

We have the PingSkills Touch which is also a blade with good control and feel. We recommend Mark V as the first rubber for players.

The 1.5mm Mark V will have a little more control than the 2mm rubber but not as much spin or speed.
