Strokes
I change my grip between forehand and backhand. Does this mean that when I go into my recovery position in between each shot should i change my grip to the in between grip that I use when i recieve serve
Hi Thomas,
The best thing to do is to try to develop a grip that you can use effectively for both the forehand and backhand.
This will eliminate the problem. You will find as the game gets faster you will not have time to be changing your grip too much between shots.
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.
