Strokes
When preparing to receive and incoming ball should your body point to the incoming ball or intended direction to hit the ball?
Hi Tim,
The body will face towards the ball all the time so as it comes in and also as it goes away. This is a general direction.

A snake shot is a type of stroke which is specifically used against a drop shot. It is usually loaded with a heavy spin so that the opponent finds it difficult to counter. The type of spin can be backspin, sidespin or topspin depending on your choice. You need to make a movement after hitting the ball to confuse your opponent.

So that means that when my opponent sends the ball (righthander-righthander) from his wide forehand to my backhand and I want to send it to his backhand corner,I must turn during the stroke?
You will do that naturally as the ball is travelling.

Hm?
Then it seems that I do something bad because when I am doing a flat stroke,I need to "petrify" my body in Receiving direction, whereas during spinny strokes I usually petrify my body in deflecting direction.
