Blocking with pimples

hi alois,

I am using pimples in my backhand. my backhand block is not good.. when the player topspins the to my backhand and blocked it the goes right into the net...should i just keep my racket or play like a mini counter. and can you pls tell me who are the players in australia using pimples..

Hi Rahul,

It is more difficult to control the block with the pimples because the ball doesn't have as much topspin on the ball and will take a direct path so there will be less margin for error.

You need to make sure you are hitting the ball from as high as possible to give it the best chance of hitting the table.

Miao Miao uses pimples and so does Trent Carter.
