We recommend the PingSkills Touch blade as it gives you a lot of control.
There are many other options out there but this is one we know will be good for you.
When choosing a net look for one with a good clamp, an adjustable height mechanism, and a way to tension the net.

I'm using a Stiga WRB Legend, playing forehand and backhand my beloved Mark V rubbers. With a faster bat I was missing some control.
