Hello Coach

Which is the most dangerous and best serve that nobody can easily play?  Also tell me which is your favourite serve?

Hi Nabeel,

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a serve that nobody can return.  You just need to find a serve that suits your game and then find the serves that each opponent finds difficult.

My favourite is the Pendulum serve.

Topspin-backspin serve.

Figure that one out and you'll be gold!

"Topspin-backspin serve"...you mean no-spin?...that is a great serve indeed!  action is key.

how  will you return a topspin with the use of backhand ?

You can flick if it is a short serve or if in the rally you can block the ball.

I actually meant some messed up serve that can change from topspin to backspin and so on during the motion :)

"serve that can change from topspin to backspin and so on during the motion".  well, once the paddle hits the ball the spin is set, and it will not change (i.e., if you hit it with backspin, it will remain backspin)...but you can definitely develop a deceptive action that will superficially look like backspin but actually be topspin, and vice versa.  alois and jeff talk a lot about this in their serving secrets dvd.  if your opponent is watching carefully though, they will be able to pick up the spin at point of contact, as well as by the flight of the ball, and the observable spin from label-mark, etc.

lol, my bad!...my firefox internet joke alert add-on didn't fire.  i have updated its ruleset.  ;)

sadly, i have read comments on youtube by some people who say "the ball can have up to 17 different spins at the same time", so i'm glad to hear you aren't one of em.   it was stupid of me really, because anyone asking questions in pingskills' "ask the coach" is by definition too smart for that.  :)
