Best rubber to return spinny serves

I have a butterfly sriver on my FH and I am debating whether I should use a short pips on the BH so I can easily return my opponents spin serves. Would I be able to return all the spin serves if I use short pips. Should I also consider long pips or anti to return my opponents serves.

Hi Rahul,

The short pips will give you a bit more control over the spin but it will certainly not combat the spin totally.  You could start to use long pimples or anti spin but I think it is more important that you learn the effect the spin has and learn to deal with it.
