Hi Alois and Jeff, today im getting a new robot, and for the past months i have been playing table tennis quite for fun and not training, which made me improve less but still Ok. And in november i bought my self a beginners blade with hurricane 2 rubbers and i was in montreal because my grandfather past away.. i really cried alot. Anyways it's a paddle for control and spin of course, so after i started making a club with my friend David. We started getting people to play for fun, but i can't actually share the robot with him, but thats ok, but what i need for training is drills for beginners. So do you know what drills should i do? like example forehand counterhit and backhands?

Thanks for reading!

Oh yeah and my blade is DHS

Hi George,

Sorry to hear about your grandfather.

FOr the drills you an go to our free download of Training Drills.  STart with some of the simpler ones in the one and two ball drills section.  You can set the robot to feed the balls out lile the controller.

This will give you some reasonable training.  It would be better if you can get your partners to train with you.

#8 - Fast Footwork

In this session you'll focus on increasing the speed of your footwork. To do this we ask you to forget about consistency and concentrate on speed. You should be playing at a pace where you can get around 4 or 5 balls on the table. If you are getting 10 or 20 balls on then you need to up your pace again. It's important to play right to the edge of your ability to actually increase your skill level. We also continue to develop the new serve you have chosen to work on.
